Authenticity Coordination:

A unique role within the entertainment industry involving a diverse array of skills including:
  • Authenticity advisor sourcing, recruiting and relationship management, including with US Dept of Defense entertainment liaison offices, public affairs, Allied militaries and the international defense support industry.
  • General realism consulting, research and visual reference delivery
  • Military motion capture actor management and contract negotiation
  • On-camera military personality recruitment, contract negotiation and oversight
  • Realism and aesthetic feedback on fictional tactical elements, marketing key art/trailers and merch involving tactical subjects
  • Weapon, equipment and tactical vehicle list construction (in collaboration with development teams)
  • Art pipeline refinement for tactical vehicles, weapons, equipment

Tactical Licensing:

Tactical licensing involves working with external companies in the tactical industry to bring value to the supported projects such as video games, key marketing art, trailers and game-related merchandise (figurines, books, apparel, etc).

​Responsibilities include industry research and relationship sourcing, contract negotiation, collecting/cataloging/distributing reference materials for teams, maintaining relationships and ensuring teams are meeting contractual obligations regarding use restrictions and approvals.

Contract Negotiation and Relationship Management

Travis has negotiated and overseen execution on multi-million dollar satellite imagery contracts, over 100 licensing agreements with tactical industry companies to enhance the realism and reduce legal risk in Ubisoft games, plus licensing coordination and contracts for side projects related to the 1/6 scale military miniature toy industry.
